RE: Snow's letter. I want to believe she genuinely wanted to forgive her and also piss off The Queen as she read her last words. That said, given she's trying to kill The Queen when she meets Prince Charming, I highly doubt her just being like, "well, I played my hand. You win." That said, she almost admits to Charming that she knows she ruined The Queen's life so guilt can be a factor.

I know I can't give Graham a free pass here, but I think during the whole episode he was drunk/physically ill/losing his damn mind/getting his old memories back so his behavior was written off as, he wasn't in his right mind.

On the subject of Graham sleeping with Regina, I can't really blame support him there, other than assuming that while he was attracted to Regina, Emma was revealing all these crimes Regina was committing and it made him all dirty and gross. That's just a theory.

Snow is a complex girl woman! She can have two different motivations! I like the idea that she genuinely was at peace with what was going to happen and offering forgiveness for real...but also wanted to do that to screw with the Evil Queen, to try and cheat her of her victory. There's a quote I'm gonna paraphrase badly about how 'if you don't play, you can't lose'. Snow just sitting there prettily composing a note is NOT how the Queen would want her to go.

I highly doubt her just being like, "well, I played my hand. You win."

IKR? I find the idea that her note was 100% about her sincere forgiveness to trivialize her character. We've seen before that she has different aspects to her personality, she's not just the nicey-nice sweet demure princess.

I think during the whole episode he was drunk/physically ill/losing his damn mind/getting his old memories back so his behavior was written off The memories and whatnot would excuse his behavior, except that his throwing the dart at Emma and kissing her happened before the spell started ( ... )

I meant I couldn't support him. Crimes I meant were Regina planting Henry's files on Emma just because she didn't like her. Also Emma probably made him feel bad about the affair when she caught him last week.

Love, love the promotional photos. It sucks there wasn't more Emma, I expected that, but I didn't really see that many Prince Charming ones either, I know they had David ones, as I've seriously been playing with the Regina/David ones like woah. Can't stop the Evil/Charming thing

Ugh, Henry drama and Regina hurt this isn't going to go well, at all.

I get annoyed with the whole 'rape' talk. That Regina is raping Graham. It's like he's still willing. He's the one that chose to go to her in that one scene, he's the one literally going there, but they dare you to say that about him. Regina haters piss me off so freaking much sometimes It's ironic though, he goes to the one that he says doesn't let him feel anything.. yeah, right, buddy. Regina cared you ass. Plus David should beat his ass for hurting her.. What? I'm an Evil Charming, You should know these answers from me LOLI agree about what you said about Snow. I might've got teary eyed at parts, but I think she was playing him to play the queen. Come on, she's not stupid and do they ( ... )

You expected the lack of Emma? She's the main character, though, what made you think she'd be left out? I mean, they included Archie, so you'd think they'd make time for their leading lady!

And aww, yeah, Charming wasn't highlighted either, shaaaame. APPEAL TO YOUR FANBASE, PTB. Everyone loves his face, what gives? (I know his face is the same as David, but I like Charming's wardrobe better...)

Lmao, ofc you have! Never stop being such a fangirl, bb. <3

Ugh, Henry drama and Regina hurt this isn't going to go well, at all.IFKR. I want as little Regina/Henry interaction as possible. I kept wanting to scream at his bratty behavior the first couple eps, and now we got more to look forward to. JOY. I suppose it will be interesting to see how it started. Everyone keeps saying that he must ( ... )

I expected it when I didn't see her when the first picture came out, I figured there wasn't any of her or less of her, and I think Jen said something about not being there for some photoshoots.

Charming does have nice wardrobe, Plus it makes it easier to do Charming when I want to do Evil Queen with Charming ones. :P

*smiles* I try! ;)

I think she does care for the kid, I mean look what name she gave him

I wish the show hadn't done that thing with 'Emma is a human lie-detector' and making it look like she doesn't believe Regina when she says she loves Henry. Because everything in the script and the way she is around him SCREAMS devotion, even if not positively depicted.

Naming him after the father she murdered might not seem like it supports that, but he was the thing she loved the most and to give that name to a child she adopted is significant. IDK why people still think she doesn't love him, especially after the way she was losing her mind in ep 5 and how she co-operated with EMMA for his sake.

I know we're stuck with Henry, but I want less Henry. The brat gets by with everything. Regina needs to ground him and Emma needs to stop babying himITA. Emma needs to act like his mother- she's taking on that role and not denying him seeing her in that role, but she's not stepping up. Being a parent means doing things that your child might hate you for, but it's in ( ... )

SERIOUSLY, RIGHT? That castle was so bizarre!

And I'm so glad you agree with me re: the fringe. I'm seeing icons of her with that look and I'm like WHO THOUGHT THIS LOOKED GOOD, COME ON. Was it meant to look like a heart? Was it supposed to be symbolic? JUST NO.

she broke my heart (ahahahaha)

Lol, it's so ~awkward talking about hearts in relation to her...I keep going to write something like 'she's stolen my heart' and then realizing it doesn't sound too good...

she just looked so sad throughout that episode

*nodnod* I think she has softened through her years as Regina, she's mellowed a bit, and she was in damage control mode instead of attacking people right away. (omg, when she was all 'IDK what I ever did to you, Miss Swan', I wanted to hug her so bad. She was so crushed! But I love them punching each other- it was so unexpected, but I think understandable from both of them. Emma was pretty damn snotty to her- although I hated Graham more, wtf, 'It's you, not me'. I know she's the Evil Queen, but he didn't know that and I'm ( ... )

I suppose they'll mention that the EQ remodelled the place after their marriage, if they ever want to explain why it looks so bizarre.

I LOVE THE PUNCH SCENE, so fierce. I mean, I'm always like 'violence doesn't solve anything', but they were both so on the edge and just filled with emotion and it was awesome. :D I just really like that they didn't go for a more 'civilized' sissy slap, no, they went all out.

*nodnod* Regina put way more effort into trying to coax him to stay with her than would be warranted if she thought nothing of him, if he was merely a toy. It almost reminds me of how she is with Henry, desperately clinging even as people leave her behind. No wonder she reacted badly to Emma throwing that in her face.

She should run a fashion magazine, not be mayor. (I'm picturing her as the lead in Devil Wears Prada now, lol)

This is perfect because it reminded me of the last ep just in time for this one! :D

My timing is horrible. I pick the day before the new ep comes out to talk about ep 7.

Actually I'd say that your timing is excellent. *g* Just after tonight's episode would have been poor timing but the day before a new episode when we're all ancipating some new canon is the perfect time to bring up the previous episode.

Further cementing my ‘Graham is an asshat’ belief. Emma clearly wants nothing to do with him, so his response is to chase her down the street and then grab her and plant a kiss on her?Not that he was right to do any of this but I saw it as Graham having a nervous breakdown. He continued the breakdown during the episode but it started before he kissed Emma. The cognitive dissonance of his life had hit him (perhaps because he was attracted to Emma and couldn't figure out why he was with Regina) and he was not doing well ( ... )

True that. My timing coul've been worse!

But I'm going to try and actually write up a post on the new ep this week, instead of leaving it for a month, lol

I saw it as Graham having a nervous breakdown. He continued the breakdown during the episode but it started before he kissed Emma

The thing is, I can understand him falling apart in the rest of the ep, when his memories were starting to come back, but prior to that, I just can't with him.

Though you bring up an interesting point with the cognitive dissonance- I'd thought of it as 'well, he wants one woman while being with another and he acts like a jerk', but...if the curse is forcing him to want to be with Regina and all of a sudden, Emma 'Curse-breaker' Swan is in town, allowing people the chance to break out of their pre-defined roles, then...wow, that puts a whole new spin on things ( ... )

I also think that with Rumpel. His whole public persona is smoke and mirrors and shiny things to put everyone else off balance .

Indeed! I'm looking forward to the backstory, to when he's less accomplished and there are cracks in his facade and he's not perfect with his manipulations of others.

There is definitely more to Snow than appears on the surface. She schemes with such an innocent face. No wonder the Queen hates her when she can twist a situation all around while looking as though she would never consider being anything other than completely straight-foward and honest in her life.THANK YOU FOR THIS. It seriously baffles me that when I read the comms, people don't register how clever she is and how she's always playing a situation to her advantage ( ... )
