I get a bit jealous of younger girls who don't seem to have been past college/uni already starring in things and close scenes/shoots with guys that I could picture myself liking.

I mean I get jealous for any female but if they are under about 22 (usually teens!) I get super jealous and wonder why I am not already a part time hollywood actress. Heh.

Yes, you understand! That is exactly how I feel! When it's older actresses who are famous and accomplished, that's fine, but when it's girls who are so young and already winning accolades and so celebrated....I feel so inferior, lol. And I'm pouting at them being entwined with actors I like and wish I could snuggle up to, ha.

I ship Effie/Haymitch sometimes. Depends on the moment. I love Cinna, but I could never ship Katniss with anyone but Peeta. Peeta is my King. Well, and another character we meet in Catching Fire.

I also just adore the Careers.

*high five* I never expected to find people who shipped them at all, so that's cool. ^_^ Cinna is awesome, I have yet to see anyone say a bad word about him. <3 And aww, I respect your loyalty to your ship, and it's nice for you they're endgame! I just like shipping weirdly, it's always the random ship dynamics that intrigue me more than canon.

The Careers are fascinating! I went into the movie knowing people were irritated by the lack of development they had, but I was glad, tbh, because I found them so interesting in what little time they had and since only two could survive at the end, there was no point making me invest in them more! Omg, Cato at the end... *wibble*

Yay, you liked it! I know some people were meh about it, mainly book fans who were disappointed it didn't translate well or whatever, but I thought it was fantastic. Not flaw-free, I thought there were some pacing issues, but I left feeling utterly in love!

D'aww, that is important, yes. I was relieved my mother was crying- she never cries IRL, so this is a big deal that she was in tears and over a movie- because that made me feel no shame in soaking my hanky, lol

The past few episodes of OUaT have been slightly disappointing. I am still all about it though, just not like I was before.

THG! OMG! I haven't gotten to see the movie yet. My mom and I are planning on going tomorrow afternoon though. Have you read the books? I absolutely LOVE them so I am very anxious about seeing the movie.

Same here. I started off all WOOHOO, OUAT, SO EXCITE, OMG and now I'm...d/l the eps and not watching them. I just wanna have them there, but I have no motivation to watch them atm.

Ooh, I hope you guys got to go to the movies and had a good time! I haven't read the books- because it seemed to me that people who had were more critical of the movie, so I figured I'd go in with a blank slate so I had no expectations. Mother has read the books and still loved it, though. ^_^

I was able to go see it Wednesday afternoon. I think that reading the books helped me to understand the movie better, because they left SO MUCH important stuff out. I still enjoyed it a lot though. Plan on possibly going to see it again in fact.
