I love the dynamic you've tapped into here. TDWP is one of those things I didn't think could sustain a fandom, but you've really intrigued me here. There really is a lot at play and I think you've captured complexities between the two characters really really well.

I'm really pleased to have been able to make you think twice about TDWP! I know, it's not a movie one would ordinarily think would have a large fanbase, but the comm I'm on for it is fairly active and there's quite a bit of fic being posted, even after all these years. I was lucky enoough to be sucked into a few decent fics lately, so when this challenge came up, it was all I could think of!

I had honestly never considered these two as a pairing but the mix is lovely and the art is spot on, with that cover picture. Just the awe there. Vitamin String Quartet always gets points too.

Hee, yes, my ships are more often than not completely AU and crack!pairings, lol. It's what I do! It's nice I could introduce you to a new ship, I kind of like surprising people that way, hee. (HEY, RANDOM, BUT WHAT ABOUT THEM TWO? SO RIDICULOUS, IKR, BUT SERIOUSLY, I LOVE THEM.)

These songs work very well together, they make apparent a layer of emotion that isn't on the surface but could very well be there for these characters - and on a personal level, this really speaks to me. The quotes are really wonderful too :)

I'm sorry you know what that pain feels like. It's the worst! especially since my boss has been a douchebag and forced the woman in question to leave work, so I'm extra heartbroken at never being able to see her again *wibble*
