I have seen Starship. I really loved it, even though AVPM will always be the classic. And I missed Darren in it, but at least he wrote the music for it and had some part in it. :)

I'm watching Act 2 rn and I'm disappointed 'coz Lauren's missing for a huge chunk of it- she's in part 1, and doesn't return til like, part 7? *pout* Okay, so maybe she's one of the bug actors, but still. That OTT stereotypical character is SO FUNNY, I love her slyly parodying all these cliches and making it so awesome!

My fave gif is that 'kill you for nothing' one, LOL. *hugs tight* Thank you so much for all this! :D (I appreciate the Draco ones as well, btw, I just realized it sounded like I was only adoring the Starship ones, but her Draco will forever be fabulous)

I've not seen either. But I was sitting with my friend and her friend on the train back from Muggles Melbourne and they were discussing them, and for them they thought overall story/things were lacking but the music was much better in the sequel (at least musically?).

Oh, you really should! AVPM truly is wonderful- the only unfortunate part is that sometimes it was hard to hear (the filming for the second was much better in that respect) but it was so much classier.

And I don't agree with your friends (although I think it's awesome you have friends who have watched it and debate it!) because I actually burned the songs from the first onto a cd to listen to it in the car, that's how great it was. With the second, there weren't really any songs I liked, or remembered long after I'd watched them, although the Quidditch fight song in the vid I've posted here was funny.

I'm just pleased to know there is such a thing as a Het bigbang at all. Since I used to be an entirely het shipper that sometimes felt alone, I am glad to know it is not the case!

Yeah, it's pretty cool! I'm a little sad sometimes at how slash takes over fandoms, so it's nice to have something that's entirely het-focused. (I'm part of two comms, het_reccers and epic_recs- the latter is pretty much solely slash recs, even though that's not the purpose of the comm, that's just how it turns out *sigh* So I'm glad for the former!)
