"rule of thumb, don't hit anything!"

...my first thought whenever I get behind the wheel of a car! Glad to hear you can take that kind of excitement. Guess it beats a room full of bratty teenagers. :)

Well, I don't own a CB yet,... but speaking of bratty teenagers, sometimes the CB sounds like a room full of obnoxious rednecks. Ignorant hillbillies are probably a minority in truckdriving today, but they still dominate the CB (maybe becase thuse of us with a little since don't spend all day bsing on the radio), and every so often a few of them will get together on the CB, turn the power way up, and generally run down their minority of the day until someone from that minority chimes in and lets them have it. Blacks, "Fer-ners," Yankees, Mexicans, women..COMPANY DRIVERS (ie me)... yep, they all get it on the CB occaisionally.... I dont even own a squak box yet. I know I need one, but the immature BS on that thing so often gets under my skin greatly. Something about paying $200 for a box that constantly screams profanity at me for being governed at 65 mph seems a bit heafty of a price tag.
