The other option that's come up is a human-sized hamster ball, though I fear with my luck I'd roll into the street and get run over by a truck!

I had rotator cuff surgery last January. I know how rough recovery from that can be. I can't imagine the rest of this. A broken pelvis must be just awful. I wish you a speedy recovery from your broken leg. I'm sending soft gentle hugs and prayers that you are home for Christmas. Maybe in addition to bubble wrapping you, someone needs to bubble wrap everything around you. xo

"Maybe in addition to bubble wrapping you, someone needs to bubble wrap everything around you "--I like the way you think!

The frustrating thing about my shoulder is that I was doing really well with that recovery until I broke my femur and didn’t continue that therapy until I got into the nursing facility so I lost a lot of the progress I'd made. Fortunately the therapists here are excellent and we're working on the arm as well as the leg.

Thanks for the well wishes!

Oh My! So sorry to hear about all your accidents. Lady Luck has definitely not been with you lately. Bright side, they say things happen in 3's. This is 3, so you should be good, right? :)

I wish you a speedy recovery and hope you are able to make it home by Christmas.

I am counting very hard on the rule of 3 and therefore being done!

Thank you for the well wishes!

Oh no! What a fall you had. Literally!

Things go in threes, so hopefully you are maxed out and are safe now. I have my fingers crossed you'll be well enough to be home for Christmas.

Someone else told me i wasn't supposed to take "fall" literally...

I am making progress in the nursing home with physical therapy and will probably be able to go home by the end of this week!
