i hate my new haircut. It looked fantastic for about the first week, it looked pretty good for the second week, by the third week it was starting to look tired and limp, and no amount of styling or washing or using the same goop as the hairdresser enabled it to look perky and upbeat. its been nearly 5 weeks? or is it only 4? since the haircut and ( Read more... )

It's true, a haircut that only looks good for one week after it's cut is really not much use to anyone except the hairdresser. If you can find a woman who can do your hair consistently so that it works right after it is cut and is still manageable weeks afterwards, that would be great.

I'm getting my hair cut by someone I don't know in next week sometime, during my travels, which I'm hopeful won't be a fiasco -- but it's going to be free and done by a professional hairdresser as service, so I think I'll take the risk. ;-)

Its a fact - if you have short hair you need a cut every 4-5 weeks. Men go every month for a haircut, and women also need to, to keep up the style. So why don't we go? Because for the same cut as men we get charged twice as much. I resnt this fact of life soooo much, but I have come to the conclusion that its a necessary evil and I need to cut my hair more often, even at my length.

I really like the pic on one of your myspaces with the supershort hair. I thought it looked extremely flattering and did wonders for you. You probably didn't have to fight with the curl much (that's why you're having shorter looking pieces now, cause the curl is coming in as it grows).
