I do like listening to you speak, it's very friendly and calming somehow. ;-)

Here's the comment I left over there, so you know what I said without having to wait for the comment to be passed by the mod:

An excellent interview - smooth, well-conducted, and fascinating to listen to. I felt like I was sitting with a couple of friends listening to them talk together. Really appreciated Tom’s insight into World Vision and the work in Africa!

thanks love, for listening, and for leaving a comment! i really like the idea of that.. two old friends sitting on a couch talking. I cant believe how easy it was to talk to him and how much i learned for my next interview... he's an old hand at interviews so it was easy ;)

forgot to say too... he's not religious in any sense, which is sorta why i wanted to find out why he chose world vision, a 'religious' organization. i like that he felt early on that he could trust them with his money. same thing happened to me - my sponsor child was no longer in need of sponsorship and so they cut me off from donating! i was shocked that they would do that and not just transfer my money elsewhere and say nothing... which is why i continue to support this particular charity over some of the others.

That is cool when even non-religious people feel they can trust an organization that definitely has religious goals. Its faithful and consistent putting of funds where they are needed and intended, and being up front about it, is very cool indeed.
