Someone you can turn to. Someone who loves you for how you are and whom you love in return. Someone you can sit in comfortable silence with. Someone whom you trust.
It's hard to define friendship, but that's generally what I consider a friend to be.
Someone close to you. Someone you can trust on, and who can tell you their honest opinion on things, but still make you feel comfortable.
A true friend is someone who is there for you when he'd rather be anywhere else.
I like this quote: "A true friend is someone who thinks that you are a good egg even though he knows that you are slightly cracked." -- Bernard Meltzer.
A friend is someone who loves you, even when they don't like you. A friend is someone you can talk to about what's bothering you- and they listen. A friend is someone you enjoy spending time with, even if that time is spent doing nothing. A friend is someone who hugs you and holds you when you need it, and laughs at you and teases when you need that too.
I don't know, my ambitions of working for Webster are dying as I type.
