"Now class, the results of this exam are quite impressive. Firstly, bravo to all 198 of you new med school students for staying on top of things and keeping the median for this test quite high! We've never had a class achieve a median score of 85 out of 100 on the very first Advanced Biochemistry Course! However, what is more impressive is that two of you have managed to pull the lowest scores in UW med school history. You both achieved identical scores of 7 out of 100 on this last test. Oddly, enough, you both missed the exact same problems, which leads me to believe that there was some kind of cheating involved. But, I will not implement any administrative action, because no unfair grade inflation or manipulation occurred to the class on a whole, besides making the curve out of 198 people instead of 200. Well, I hope you're at least drinking a lot of alcohol for scores like that. See you next week"
