urgh. i've just noticed that the body shop application requires me to put down my favourite quote! all my favourite quotes are vaugely insulting and not at all interesting!

damn.

i could put down simon peggs quote that i do rather like- 'lose weight, sell your lungs'. but i don't think that's giving off the right impression.

That reminds me of that bit out of Monsters Inc.
"Hey! Good to see you! Did you lose weight... or a limb?"

Well you could always use my favourite quote - "You can't have a sandwich of the month, that's mental" (Mark Steel)

Seriously though (and I'm not saying this to be pushy, but cause I genuinely think it might concern you if you don't already know), but the Body Shop has been bought by L'Oreal, which is notorious for animal testing (not to mention owned by Nestle). I dunno what your opinion of those companies is but thought I'd better mention it in case it's important to you.

I don't think it makes you sound like you lack morals, I'd work at mcdonalds if I needed the money! I have a Hare Krishna friend who once did, and when she first mentioned it to me she was all sheepish like she thought I'd disapprove or something and think she was a hypocrite, but people have to make a living. I don't think working at a low level within ethically-dubious companies is bad in itself, it's the higher-up people that make the company ethical or not.

Anyway good luck! What makes you doubt you'll get an interview?
