krystal’s accumulated a sizable list of offences (of varying magnitudes) to conclude that luna generally just pisses her off.

“everything pisses you off,” sulli points out. “you might look like yoona but there’s a reason why the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree.”

everyone here’s starting to sound like a broken record and krystal wants nothing short of stepping on its face. she ignores sulli’s yelps as she gives her a thorough pinch on the arm.

it’s particularly annoying because she always gets lectured on her less than savory personality. “why can’t you be more like luna”. she’s skinnier, prettier, and the nation’s favorite girl group’s little sister -- so what if she doesn’t smile as much.

and goddamn, that smile makes krystal want to puke, or just take a long hard look at her own reflection to cement the fact that it’s luna who’s the anomaly, not her. sometimes when krystal swings by her sister’s schedule, she contemplates asking her how she deals with tiffany because they’re practically two halves of a whole.

“would you mind stepping out for a bit,” the staff gestures to luna, “we’ll have you on the next shoot.”

krystal snorts as luna happily complies, skipping off stage, and doesn’t really have the time to wonder if she’s just an idiot because one of the staff’s already barking a new slew of directions her way. she steals a quick glance at luna when she has the chance, as she’s leaning awkwardly on siwon, and sees her chatting up one of the crew members. luna smiles when she looks up and flashes her a thumbs up. krystal looks away.

“miss me?” luna jokes when she finally makes her way back on set at the cue of one of the staffs. it’s a shoot with just the three of them -- krystal, luna, victoria -- and krystal, for god knows why, feels her hair stand on end when luna leans against her. instinctively, she shifts a bit to her left, and lets victoria lay her head on her shoulder instead. luna finishes first and heads back to the dorm, much to sulli’s visible dismay.

the rest of them get back hours after and krystal’s starving, so she beelines for the kitchen when she sees four taco bell bags sitting on the counter.

“awesome! tacos for dinner,” amber says excitedly as four pairs of greedy hands reach for the prize.

“there’s one for everyone, so settle down,” luna calls out as she steps out of her room, grinning. “i had our manager pick them up on the way.”

the four bags are labeled in sharpie with each of their names, and krystal sort of wonders as she bites into her burrito, how luna’s even managed to memorize their food preferences. she rummages through her bag for some hot sauce but fishes out a piece of paper instead.

sorry if i did something to make you angry.

krystal whips around to look at luna, heart pounding in her chest because she didn’t expect anyone to notice -- least of all luna. krystal doesn’t know what to think now, because maybe luna’s been hiding her intuitiveness the whole time. and so, what does that say about her, to have been such an asshole --

but luna smiles, and krystal forgets how her thought ends.
