In no particular order:

- Characters who have some kind of ~hidden side~! Whether it's a dual personality, a concealed agenda, or actual physical transformation, I get really fascinated by exploring that in RP.
- Mascots and crack characters, but I always need one or two solid competent ones for balance.
- Villains who are complex and broken, and heroes who are derpy mcfailboats most of the time.
- My trend is towards toppy females, more easygoing males, and overall heavily social characters. But I have apped outside all of these patterns before, so. My pings can be arbitrary at times!

Did Flynn believe Mithos's lie in their auction thread? The one where Mithos claimed to have broken the link just by knocking Flynn out?

Because I forgot to mention it. I always have a hard time explaining my pings because I've played a lot of different types, so that's why I went with the only actual pattern I end up having as much as I try to avoid it.

No, Flynn didn't believe Mithos at all. He actually thinks Mithos did something to himself.

OH HE DID SOMETHING TO HIMSELF ALL RIGHT

Temeraire! It is a fantastic read, the story goes all around the world, the characters and the history are complex and wonderful and thoroughly researched...it is one of my favorite series, one of the best-written ones I've ever read, and one I'd recommend to pretty much everyone I know. Also: dragons! Warfare! Politics! Strong men and women doing courageous deeds, 'bad guys' who believe wholeheartedly in what they're doing, realistic moral issues...I could go on forever. The dragon-captain pairs have fascinating relationships because--yes, they're usually codependent, but every dynamic we get is uniquely interesting. I cannot recommend you a particular character to app, they are all great ;o;

What are the things you enjoy the most about RP?

I love the writing aspect of RP! The character exploration and figuring out what to do with them in different situations, figuring out character dynamics. And I also enjoy getting to know the people behind other characters! Making friends through RP, sharing interests and bonding--this is pretty cheesy to say, but most of the people I feel closest to, both on and offline? People I've met through playing at CFUD. ♥

HOW IS SAMWISE HOLDIN' UP IN CAMP

WHAT IF THEY GET LOST IN THE MAIL? But yeah, that might be the only way I'll be able to read them. ;;

CAMP IS A MYSTERIOUS AND DANGEROUS PLACE. So, Sam lost his memories during that memory event! That made him quite aware of the dangers of camp pretty quickly and he felt awful about forgetting because he knew how much it hurt Frodo. :( Outside that, Sam still . . . feels curious about camp? But not in the same way it was a first, because now he doesn't trust camp and he's more likely to be all :| about camp events from now on. STILL, it's a different place and different worlds and different races! It's interesting, in a way, but while Sam can be curious he's always more careful and wary. He wants to meet elves in camp!

Talk to me about Albert and Seth, I know nothing about them.

OKAY FINE, I'LL READ THEM IF YOU SEND THEM TO ME. B-But wouldn't that be expensive for you?

Shinobu: doesn't have a preferred food, but he doesn't like sweet things a lot.
Spock: . . . He likes WEIRD VULCAN FOOD.
Flynn: Until I get actual canon for this: Japanese stew and soup noodles.
Annie: She can't eat, but when she was alive she loved pie, cakes and meat, and I'm sticking to it.
Himeno: She isn't picky about food and she could eat anything mostly due to the fact she was poor for a long time.
Samwise: EVERYTHING except raw food. He has a preference for hobbit food and human food makes him go all :| but he'd eat it and even admit some of it is actually nice!

I will check the prices, but it shouldn't be super expensive since the parcel won't be huge or heavy. I think. WE'LL SEE.

...I do not! Anise was my last planned app and I'd been holding off on her for months and months. I have a character in mind for when counselors roll around again, but I do not have a strong desire to add to my lineup. My plan is actually to drop a certain character I've burned out on by next month, and focus on building the relationships of the others.

Give me some headcanon for one of your characters. /o/

- Back in the day, Mithos was the party cook. Kratos and Yuan could make survival-camp type food, but it was nothing tasty, and Martel's concoctions were poisonous. He is largely self-taught but he is a KITCHEN WHIZ. Everything he makes is delicious

He tells people he doesn't eat because 'it's unnecessary,' but the truth is he feels he can't have nice things because he's dead.

WELL, he managed to cope mostly due to pure tenacity and stubbornness to show Mithos his feelings were sincere? It didn't scare him and THERE WAS SO MUCH PAIN AND SUFFERING AND JUST TOO MUCH EVERYTHING, but what Flynn managed to get from it, more than . . . all the awful things Mithos did, was Mithos' pain. Flynn thought that giving up and not facing anything that he showed him, would give Mithos reasons to keep thinking he can't understand. He was more focused on that than in anything else, so he managed to cope somewhat! It's not something he'd like to do again, because it was more than he thought it would. I'M NOT SURE IF THIS MAKES ANY SENSE, but I'm this close to falling asleep so. :x

I THINK ABOUT APPING MARTEL SOMETIMES because I do believe she has enough canon given in backstory/Tales of Fandom/other supplements! And she is sweet and derpy and very much my character type. My reason for not apping should be obvious though :'D.

I do have a journal for her, I've tagged around in dressing rooms/museboxes, and I have full apps written for her for a couple of different RPs that I ended up never joining. Someday I will find somewhere else to play her long-term!

ESTELLE. I think I had a solid voice for her and I enjoyed playing her a lot, but . . . I can't app her here for obvious reasons. I can't find a game where I can play her because most games require third person prose and I hate that with a passion.

There's another one but I might app them in the future so I don't want to say it, but this character still makes me go all "WHAT NO I CAN'T PLAY THEM THEY'RE TOO AWESOME," so.
