yeah..at first I didn't want to buy it because it was white, and if I ended up not refinishing it, I didn't want a white guitar.
However, I noticed that the paint was kind of bad on this one, which is reason enough to strip it down. It's probably an Alder body, I don't think I'm lucky enough to get anything else, especially in the Squire realm, but it's better than another I was looking at, which had a plywood body (ick).
Anyways, if I get really lucky and it has a decent grain, I may just strip it and nitro coat the body myself and go with the natural finish. If not, I've seen several guides on repainting, so it shouldn't be that big of a hassle.
