Just finished reading an astonishing book "The Dogs of Babel" by Carolyn Parkhurst. While it seemed as a very easy read, it felt very heavy at times. It's a powerful story that tells you how fragile we all are, that sometimes people live with each other without even knowing who we truly could be, that some people's lives are way more complicated ( Read more... )

I thought I was the very first one coming up with my own motto: "Let your heart do all the talking".  However, I discovered today that Joseph Campbell, an American mythologist and writer, said the following: "When your heart speaks, take good notes". Great minds think the same! When will people start quoting me??? :)

Finally, the official First Day of Spring is here! Nikki was right (referring to THIS post), she is almost always right.. I am welcoming this day with a terrible headache and pretty cranky overall.
