oh man i know exactly what you mean, and dont let it get you down that you had to think about it. There isnt any wrong in that. You had victory in that situation because in the end you said, "no."
Dont let the devil or anyone tell you otherwise. Remember, Jesus was tempted as well, and if its a temptation, it has to be something that you are gonna want. Otherwise it wouldnt be a temptation.

The thing that I really wanted at that time, was something to do. So although alcohol wasn't the main temptation at the time, it likely would've come to that. With a bunch of people surrounding you, telling you to drink, it becomes a much more difficult temptation. I don't want myself with people, who will only keep me away from god.
