It seems harder to trust people these days. What is said in private, becomes common knowledge. You try to trust those around you, but only in vain as the reality of the situation becomes clear ( Read more... )

Trust, a very hard thing to put into something thats imperfect. something that can easily be broken when you trust imperfection. Not everyone is filled with deciet, although it is easy to be. And not everone is self gaining either, although humans *even me, and you* always tend be selfish. Trust Christs love more than life itself. <-- Thats for the heart and not critical analysis.
Love in Christ,
Jeff

I agree with you. It is harder and harder to trust people. And, I believe that you should obly trust a few people. If you give your heart and soul to too many people, you will feel worn out. And, Jeff is right with what he said about trusting imperfection. We are all imperfect. But, the real obstacle is not trusting imperfection, it is loving imperfection. If you can be a friend that loves, even dispite the trust that was broken, and truly love that person despite their imperfections, that is the key. It says in I believe Luke to forgive as many times as someone needs the forgiveness. Each time you forgive someone, you know and understand God in a different way. That God forgives us on a daily basis...

I heard you got your license... CONGRATS! I'm so happy for you Donny. Sorry I missed you at church this morning.

Hope all is well. Love ya, Val

I was exaggerating a bit, but I agree. No one is perfect, but I know of some people who don't toss trust away like an empty wrapper, and then those who I slowly learned to distrust, but forgive. But I do believe that everyone is deceitful and self-gaining, as we are imperfect. It is the extent of those qualities that bother me. It really bothers me when people lie about themselves to try to further their image in the eyes of men. It is hard to forgive sometimes, but all their sins are forgiven in gods eyes, so it helps to look at them as God does. Hate the sin, love the sinner.

It was just a realization of imperfections, not so much of a forgiveness issue.

I did get my license! I had a women who looked like a drill instructor from the army test me, but to her dismay I passed. Now I just need a car, but I'm saving up money.(340$) <- saved up from work.

Hope to see you all soon.
