Actually, there has been mention of Westport before. The news and Grady seem to be the only ones that ever talk about it though.

I wasn't present at the time either, but I was informed by my sister that quite simply all food vanished from the stores etc and a shortage was declared and they all gradually began to starve.

To me it sounds like yet another one of this town's punishments for disobedience.

To me it sounds like the plague minus the boils and deaths every day. That, or one of the tactics Danmark and I used on a tiny village once while we took what we wanted.

Go to Danmark if you have to. I know he's a thick-headed potato-mouthed oaf, but he's protected us all before because... Well, I hope he does it because he still cares about us like family--Like in the days of old.
