...They're back.

Seven year. Thirty Year. The Kalmar. The Scanian and Napoleonic. Treaty of Kiel. The fire. The wight when I was a child. Jemtland, Herkedalen and Båhuslen, too. All of them. Every last one. I wonder how many of them people even remember... There were some that I never told anyone about.

old memories are always fun, someone has a secret

Wuuuuuh?

Y'know, if you stopped like, being cryptic and stuff, more people would get half of what you're saying. ... Unless you were going for that.

How am I being cryptic?

To begin with, I don't remember any of those wars and stuff, so you'll have to enlighten me.

The Napoleonic War was the one that started the Treaty of Kiel and turned me into what I am today. Independent.

...

Are those... things that happened in your country?

Things that I was involved in. The fire and wight was just a mistake on my part.

Oh. I'm sorry. [Even though he's curious, he'll be respectful and not ask any further in case it upsets him to talk about it.]

Don't be. Every nation has their scars, and they usually all have a story behind it. I'm just glad I don't have that many major ones.

My scars.

Oh. That makes sense. A country would have a lot of scars.

Assuming that you are one of them? What you said before about all those conflicts suggests it.

Ah, those were some marvelous conflicts, weren't they.

Some, perhaps. The Napoleonic wars are something I still wish never happened.

Oh, but it truly sounded like a fun thing to watch. Particularly its effect. Ah, didn't that nice country called Sweden take over? That must have been a pain.

Almost a shame it left so peacefully.

[Oh this is still a sore subject--Incoming snappiness]

Like I'd roll over and let him take me from my home. I almost bolted if I wasn't tugged back--! Sverige used to be one of my closest friends! You don't barge into someone's house and just say "You lost the war give over Norway"! I was not some... Some... Some war booty! Yet Danmark let him take me!

Peacefully... I made it everything but peaceful. I was as stubborn as a mule around him.

I mentioned the fire one briefly.

You should check out some of the stories about Ragnarök too. I was never involved in it--That was with the Gods.
