[Good Evening, Mayfield. If you happen to look outside your door, out the window, or even go to your mailbox for whatever reason, you'll find this either folded neatly in an envelope or taped to the nearby light post. They're all over town, actually. On a few cars, light posts, telephone poles, the window of the grocery store, anywhere that can be ( Read more... )

I'm going to try. It's my turn to host this year, but... Changes are going to be made because of this town. Anyone--And I mean anyone, can participate. It doesn't have to be in song, either. Think of it as a talent show combined with Eurovision.

Really? I'm definitely gonna try to get somethin' together, then! [And by "try" he means "I've dreaming of this day my whole life."]

I'll have a sign-up sheet made up and posted somewhere so whoever wants to enter can put their name up. I'll try and ask around to find a place where we could set up a place to practice, too.

But of course. It would not be fair to the other half of the town if they couldn't join as well.

It's going to be strange, but most fun things are strange... At least in my lifetime.

[ Have a rockstar who seems somewhat interested in the poster that you just put up on a light post. ]

Oh? I haven't watched the Eurovision since I left Germany.

[Eurovision! Even Crowe knows what that is, and that's saying something. He'll break out into a wide smile when he sees the signs.]

Oh wow, really? Ha, with all the nation representatives around here, that's a really good idea. Um, do you need any volunteers? I-I'm afraid I'm not really much of a singer, but I'd like to help...

You're not going to perform yourself? [There's a small smile as he glances over his shoulder.]

Anyone can perform this year, seeing as we're in such a small town with interesting people, don't you think? If you're not that great at singing, six people can be up on stage at once. I guess you can think of it as Norske Talenter meets Eurovision.

Oh, well, I mean, I don't really... perform? Ha... B-but maybe I can find a group to work with! But if you do need any volunteers, I'd be glad to help. Sounds like fun!

I still need to find a place for it to be held, so... I could use some help with that. We could use it as a place to practice, too.
