It is now the same temperature inside as outside: hot. Or to be more precise 93.4 f (34.1 c). And this is at 7 pm. In May. In Oregon.

I think I will flee with my book to someplace cool. Like Antarctica.

Ugh! Is this part of the western heat wave I've been hearing about recently? So far we've escaped the abnormal spring 90's temps of the last couple of years.

It is indeed. Thankfully, it is much better today (about 70 now and not supposed to get above 80). That I can live with. Above 90 and I melt.
