By the ways, have you heard of Microsoft's project codenamed "Milan"? I thought it would eventually happen given its ubiquity in scifi fiction(See "Minority report") and its immediate plausibility. So, what do you think is going to happen with the proliferation of surface computers?(With visual programming techniques, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visual_programming, I see this as sort of steering computing technology back to humans' most natural "visual" modality and thus making the degree of "separation" between computers and humans much much more smaller, and so programming is probably going to be more popular as programming itself becomes easier and easier and software programs like IDEs become more "intelligent" and "intelligent"(Basically, having a higher probability of reacting in a way the user intends.).)
