My son and I went to see Alvin and the Chipmunks the other night. He loved it. I wasn't so impressed myself.

We go down to Joplin today to see my mom and do the whole Christmas thing. I would actually rather stay here and maybe take a nap. Maybe I am a humbug....but Im just not that excited about it the older I get. I think the ideal is gone...

think about, xmas is really nothing more than a reason to spend more money, which most people do not have. and really xmas is just another day, nothing more. and the meaning behind xmas is lost.

My son wants to see Alvin and the Chipmunks too but I made him go see Enchanted with me instead. He loved it! Maybe your son will like it too. (and I assure you it's much, much better than alvin)
