Have you ever thought about the past? like how everything that just happened is now cemented into this irreversible chain of events that can be broken into fragments. Fragments that can be totally forgotten about. but even though they are frogotten doesn't mean that they were never there they are just invisible to the naked eye. Its odd to think

A bit further with that thought and you have 1984. The past is malleable though; we don't know how much we think is true that might have never happened... but they happened, because it's the past and already gone, so who are we to say "this happened" or "this didn't happen" when it could go either way?
