I am intrigued by this. Not as sure that I can make much of a time commitment, but I am intrigued.

While I also don't want to promise a time/energy/skill commitment I'd probably be in no condition to keep (I haven't even had it together enough to play "normal" D&D in months), I'm actually pretty impressed with the originality of the approach with which you're going with this. It seems to reward players for developing a different set of problem-solving skills than usual, to be, in fact, a non-zero sum game.
