David Fincher rules

A day off of work means back to walking in the daytime, which is nice. Thursday saw no walking, but to be fair I also passed out for three hours and then twelve more hours so the only walking done then was in my dreams.

Suddenly Strange - Bic Runga
You Make Me Smile - Blue October
Backstabber - Dresden Dolls
Up All Night - Counting Crows
Marie Lavaux - Bobby Bare
Zoe Tay - The Bored Phucks
A Tendency to Start Fires - Bush
Just Got Wicked - Cold
Back to School - Deftones
Dirt Room - Blue October
Nehalem - Everclear
Infra-Red - Placebo
Flame - Sebadoh

Since it was daylight, I didn't really need a high energy set. I went with memories and miscellany, which are especially visible in the 1-2 punch of Marie Lavaux and Zoe Tay. I have no idea if The Bored Phucks ever wrote another song, but damned if we didn't love that one in college. Marie Lavaux is just a fun song. I have a ton of Bobby Bare downloaded, but I never really make it past that one. A few of these songs are kind of painful so I expect a full-on emo mistakes playlist tomorrow. Bad times, good music.

In other news, every movie with Dwight Yoakam in it is 100% more awesome. Keep that in mind. You should also check out Bajofondo's album Mar Dulce because it is excellent. It was the Amazon daily special forty-eight or so hours ago and was worth far more than the $2.11 I paid for it.
