I agree that the show was very poorly promoted. I found out about Dollhouse via my fiance, I never saw a single promo for it (and I watch House). More seasons = more Adelle. :(
I know my mother hadn't heard of it. She only found out about it by watching DVDs with me, and my mom's friend also watches Fox and such and she hadn't heard of it either. I swear I get into fights about Dollhouse's cancellation (mostly with the idiots I mention here. This is why I watched all of Buffy in one month!

I know right? I know people that watch Fringe and most of them tried to watch Dollhouse as well.
I keep telling people that have only seen the pilot to give it till episode six or seven but they seem to be impatient and want the show to be good from the get go, which pisses me off because after reading a book about writing for television, I know the characters are meant to be part of your life, similar to family members, and that doesn't happen in one or two episodes.
I am going to try to indoctrinate my mom's friend Lisa into it, because she tried watching Season Two and had no idea what was going on. So I'll have to lend her my DVDs.
