Alas for Don Knotts... I actually never watched most of what other people seem to remember him for, though I saw Three's Company often enough as a child. One of the things in which I remember him best was The Ghost and Mr. Chicken. I seem to remember watching it often on TBS during my childhood... I really admire you your perserverance on all fronts.

Keep at them both (job and publishing) -- the right thing will come along at the right time!

I was encouraged! That anyone takes time at all to write anything on a rejection is a good sign (or so say the pros).

So I hear, too. Though I've been getting such little notes for awhile now and still haven't made a sale (I'm a little bitter because Black Gate informed me yesterday that they almost bought something! Almost! At least I'm improving, I guess).

It's better than just getting things back, stuffed in an envelope! Funny, I primarily remember Don Knotts for his Scooby Doo appearance, too...but then, Scooby Doo was a big part of my childhood (and now my children's, who love it more than any other cartoon.)
