I was shocked to read that Skeeter woman's column in the Daily Prophet. I cannot imagine why anyone in their right minds would appoint him. But, I suppose, it would be best not to linger on this point, although I do wonder what Dumbledore is making of all of this. Pettigrew, I am sure, is not going to be recaptured now. Well.. no. But they had more chance when Fudge was in charge. Lucius Malfoy will probably stop the investigation all together.
