I have a twitter thingy, as of fairly recently. I'm still deciding if it's worth it. I am fully of the opinion that if I were to post it to LJ, I would be the equivalent of a dog owner who let thier dog poo everywhere :)

Oh, and you are not alone either - there's a whole bunch of people on my flist who have started defriending Twits.

I do not like my internets being mixed up! Things need to stay in their place, and when new things exist that's lovely but if I do not want to have them poked into my brain I should not have to. Loudtwitter makes me very cross!

Me too on the Twitter thing, by the way. I can just keep up with LJ and occasionally, The Bronze. Anything on top is serious overload for my brain *g*

I have LJ, facebook, myspace, emails, and the odd trip to the bronze - but twitter I do not get, do not want to get, have no desire to get!

I'm curious about Twitter and may sign up at some point, but have sworn not to do live updates. It's fine when it's genuinely updating but most of the time it isn't, and it's just boring to read. And then it replaces actual real updates, and, yawn.

it's the half of other people's conversations that annoys me. Listening to half a conversation on the bus - fun. In place of an LJ update - not fun.
