March Karaoke Meetup?
I am very interested in making a return visit to DoReMi Karaoke in Allston.
For those of you who haven't been there, it's an excellent karaoke lounge featuring private rooms and songs in 13 languages, and we are allowed to bring in our own food.
There are two types of rooms available, the regular rooms which accomodate up to 12 people, and the party room which accomodates larger numbers (I believe we had the party room at the last karaoke meetup.) The place charges $80 per hour for the party room for 1-10 people, and every person after that is $5 per hour per person. (Example: If ten people go for 3 hours, each person pays $24, but if fifteen people go, each person pays $21.) They are open starting at 4 PM on Saturdays and at 5 PM on Sundays.
If you're definitely interested and will commit to going (and if you want to bring a potluck dish or dessert!) please comment with your preferred date, and also let me know when you think would be a reasonable time to start the singing.
Personally, I'm going to be participating in a bowling contest on the first weekend of March, but that's mostly going to be during the early afternoon. I don't know what time our team will be playing yet, but I will post if either one of those days aren't going to work out for me when I find out (hopefully) tomorrow or next week. So I'm pretty much voting for any Saturday or Sunday in March and to start around 5 or 6 PM. And I will bring cake.
