Been browsing the web a lot lately to find out what is up in Canada and immigration and skilled workers entering the work force - have found a LOT of this kinda thing (see next paragraph). Hmmmmm very interesting

90% of the people who work in my department are skilled immigrants. 5% are from elsewhere in Canada.

Perhaps it is just a fluke?

Well, in my own workplace, we have a nice mix of immigrants and locals. However, the treatment of immigrants is a whole seperate issue. I wrote a post about this recently, when my colleague Fariha had to listen to this mindless bullshit about how Muslim women who wear a hijab / niqab should go back to their own countries
