My name is Eliana Jacobowitz and I am the assistant rabbi at Temple B'nai Brith in Somerville.
But this is not a synagogue list.
I created this list to offer a place online for all Jews who reside in Somerville (or spend some of their time in Somerville) to discuss and share thoughts about being Jewish and being Jewish in Somerville.
In fact, you don't have to be Jewish to joint this list. If you are in a relationship with someone who is Jewish, or raising your children Jewish, we'd love to have you join in the conversation.
One of the things that make Somerville special is its diversity, and I hope this list will be a place where people can embrace and celebrate the diverse ways and paths in which different individuals relate to Judaism.
