silly useless work complaint

so. i have this job and in my capacity as the person who does the accounting/invoicing stuff I use quickbooks. and IF my boss would allow me to use that program in the way it is meant to be used and track things like our expenses and time in it it would be super easy and accurate for me to get info

I really do. When I started at my job the contribution tracking system was being grossly misused. I was able to get in under control, however, my new issue is that there are too many cooks in this here kitchen! We had a situation last week where we discovered that $500 had been donated, and deposited, but we never recorded who gave it. WTF!?! Maybe I'm just poor, but 500 bucks is something someone should be thanked for!

ugh. so yeah, it's awful working with software you know could be used for good, but is instead being used for evil by imbeciles!
