Dear Braves,
If you lose tonight I wont be your fan anymore.
Love,

Dear Chipper,
If you don't start hitting I wont be your girlfriend anymore.
Love,
Geri

Jesus-Chrysler

We couldn't be more baseball incongruent.

Angels and Astros were my two favorites by far going in to the playoffs.

Boston & Houston would be nuts. I want to see those offenses against those pitchers.

actually, i was rooting for the angels against the red sox, but i hate the yankees, so that's the only reason i'm liking the sox in that series. plus, i'm so fascinated by johhny damon; he looks like he's in a biker gang, yet he's one of the best lead off men i've seen in a long time. he always hits, is extremely fast, and doesn't really swing for the fences.

i like the astros, but the braves played like complete shit and still managed to strech it to 5 games. if houston wants to win, their bullpen needs to step it up. cause if they play the same way they did against the braves when they play st. louis, the cardinals will sweep the series.

i hope they do, because guys like bagwell and biggio deserve to go all the way.

ok, that's better.
I was really suspect of the Angels Boston series. I think they were the better team, but not by that much. We might have won game two were it not for the ridiculous calls by the home plate umpire, and right after that game I put the two and two together of how much baseball wanted a Yankees Boston series.
I actually credit the Astros for losing game four in heartbraking fashion, and coming back to romp in game 5, it wasn't even a game really, and I thought they might fold like they always do. They're the hot team, but St. Louis is probably more armed and more accustomed to post season play. It should be interesting, but always fun to root for the underdog. Yeah, I worry about the bullpen too, trading Wagner and Dotel left them without a set-up man. Backe has been a pleasant surprise though, and if Beltran stays this hot, it should be a good series.
