rear-ended
So I got rear-ended today.
I was sure I was/am fine, but I am a little woozy and have a light headache. Accident happened at 5 minutes to 8, I did take acetaminophen and ibuprofen at 10:15. Hopefully the meds will make me feel better. #1 - I cannot afford the money for something to be wrong, #2 - I cannot afford the time off, #3 - emotionally I do not want to deal with anything else.
I was driving Buddy's truck. A big old 80's 4x4 Chevy 1/2 ton. A girl (young - early 20's at the most) rear-ended me as I was pulling into work. Her car is ouch, ouch, ouch - would not start to move out of the road. The truck is fine. Buddy is coming down to check on it (and me - he kept asking if I was sure I was ok).
I am thankful that we are both ok. I am thankful that Buddy's truck did not really get hurt. I am thankful that I was not at fault.
I am just exhausted... I am afraid to say "what more?" or "no more".
