30 Days of the Truth
Day 11 - Something people seem to compliment you the most on.
I must be over-thinking these questions. Is this question directed at my looks? my personality? some skill I have? I get a lot of compliments on my hair. I wish I was more interested in doing more with it, but I am too much of a wash and wear girl. I occasionally get told that I have a wonderful laid back personality. I know that being laid back is a personality trait that I strive for. It is toss up between my computer skills and my crocheting for the compliments I get most of for a skill I possess. I will admit I seem to have an affinity for the computer, but I have worked hard on increasing my skills. I have not devoted as much time as I probably should, but I refuse to let it take over my life, which is why I also work hard on my crochet. I don't like to make generic blankets or just crochet just so I am crocheting. I want to create something that will be used. I enjoy making hats for the shelter, although I have not made as many this year as normal. I keep picturing something I have crocheted being used by someone who had Petey and making Petey upset. I enjoy designing a blanket for each kid as they graduate high school. I hope they enjoy them for many years. Any craft I do, I want it to be enjoyed by the recipient. I do not want them to say "thank you" while thinking "Oh no, something else dumb from Dawn."
