30 Days of the Truth
Day 17 - A book you've read that changed your views on something.
Giggle, Giggle, Giggle
There were quite a few books that I read when I was younger that helped shape who I am, but most of those are standard reading. The first book I read that drastically changed how I think, what I believe was when I was 16. Key word is "drastically". Until I read this book I was very hooked on one narrow mindset about sex. A friend gave me a book that I would have sworn was titled "Good Girls Do", but a quick google search teaches me that it is titled "Nice Girls Do." I am now seriously thinking about ordering a copy so I can reread and see how "sheltered" I was. I am thankful for the friend who shared the book originally. I wish I thought of this book when my daughter was younger. I know there are other books that have changed my outlooks, my beliefs, but this was the first one.
