Raising the bar in home repairs
The Mister pulled the back off of our dryer when 14YO reported it was making a weird noise. We were expecting something was interfering with a belt. Dahlia trip was great except we went south this time. I love my state, but I swear, the drivers are crazy. Trite but true: Jeff the corn snake is a girl.
I gave 8YO a tiny multi-tool that I got at a fund raiser since both of his brothers have one. Today he put it to work pulling his two loose baby teeth. Holy moly! He offered his amateur dental skills to 11YO. 11YO said no.

Busy morning
I spent the morning watching Tom Hiddleston on YouTube with the kids and then sent them to the kitchen to make milkshakes while I moseyed out to the garden to turn on a soaker hose. That's when I realized the Mister was still at home.
"Oh. We're usually much more nutritional and hardworking."

I found the snake!
Jeff the baby corn snake has been AWOL from his tank for a few days. We've been worried the cat would get him or that he would crawl into the heating ducts and starve. I'm a little sore
But 90YO will be warm this winter. Grandpa (70YO?), the kiddos and I split her firewood into chunks small enough for her to handle and stacked it all. If this were a fairytale, we'd all be soon to acquire a valuable magical object, and likely marry royalty. Trip to San Francisco was very cool.
