I now have to check my bed for sleeping ferrets anytime I sit down or get into my bed. It appears that Xyleens favorite new bed, is mine. She's so small and blends right in with my comforter too. Awww, she's so cute! I want one now. :) Are they like doggies, where you can let them run around the house and stuff, or do you need to keep them caged, like hamsters? :)

I let her run around my room all that she wants, I just have to keep anything I don't want her to get into out of her reach or it's basically fair game. I only put her in her cage if she's being punished for nipping or leaving me carpet mines (those things that should go in the litter box). And when I do punish her, she's only in the cage for about 10 minutes or so.

Most people either "ferret proof" their house so they can have free reign, or just one room for them.

Your "little otter" is very cute.

My little brother had 3 ferrets. They very much reaked.

She always reminds me of a little otter, and I found out that it's because ferrets and otters are in the same family.

I just wash her toys and vacume a lot and she doesn't really smell.
