Anywho.
She looks good. When she got here she was disgusting...thin, ribby, and sunken in. Delia obviously didn't do anything with her and that makes me so angry. I hope she reads this, too. She's so wrapped up in Karma, yet she's pefectly okay letting Callie get to the point she was at.
I wasn't planning on making my anger towards her public, but fuck it. I'm so angry at her for what she did to that horse.
Whatever. She's home, that's all that matters, right? I mean, in the past two weeks she's been put on foal grain and is getting turned out every day, is starting to lunge now, and she's looking really good. She already has grown a couple inches (no joke) and everyone in the barn is commenting on how beautiful she looks now, compared to when she got here. It's an amazing feeling to have her back...she's mine. I'm her hero, I feed her every day, I do everything for her..it's just great. And the fact that she's looking so much better is awesome...because I did that.
She had a bath today and I cut her mane...she's shedding out nicely now and she lunged for the first time today.
I love my horse, just thought I'd share that.
