COE dropped from 11,000 to 5000 today.

Lucky I didn't do impulsive buying last week.

To buy or not to buy.....

you shld have bought then.. cos if you did then you would have gotten this cheap COE.

The next bidding will surely attract many buyers, end result pushing the price up.

Nop. If I had bought then, the rebate for the then-COE of 11K is only $300 for the buyers considering the huge drop this round. Now if I were to place a deposit, I'm enjoying this COE price. If next round of COE goes up, my 5K COE is locked in and the respective company will bear the increased cost.

Well, I'm not sure if this is a correct way of thinking, but if one were to buy now, the buyer is only getting a discount of 3K for the reduction of 6K of COE. The buyer is still not getting the 5K COE in a sense, right? Anyone care to enlighten on this?

To buy or not to buy, that is the question.
