I was thinking of making a movie of our school year. And I think I'm going to do it. But there are rules, and I'm not going to break these rules for ANYBODY. That means, not for Elise or laura or liz or rosalind or , i don't know, anyone. But wait, you say. Emily isn't on that list! That's because emily will be THE ONLY person who can see the

the only time i bother people about big non-school project things is when they say "ooh, we're planning something special, but you can't see it until you're done!" and then you say "what does it have to do with?" and they get all annoyed and "stop bothering me" but i go "WHY THE HECK DID YOU MENTION IT THEN?"
don't worry, i'm not ranting about any of you.

One question: will we be able to see it when it's done?
And really, that's just a really cool idea. Will it document just your life, or is it more of a group commentary thing? Like, I know that we won't be helping out. Actually that would be a cool idea. If we shared a video camera, and it would kind of be like lj, and our black book, but visual. It be a video journal. Which you can probably have on lj somehow, but it's probably only for the paid accounts.
Good idea nomi.
And em, what's the thing about sinclairs room?

And I meant the video thing as something separate from your story thing, not as a substite for it.

And, OF COURSE you will see it when it's done. Actually, emily had the brilliant idea of havind a sort of viewing party, where we all get together and watch it, and people cna have their own copies of it if they wanted. IT won't be at all like our black book but visual. It'll be like a documentation of our year. Sort of. Kelsey, where cold i possibly find that video spencer made? I wnat to see how he did it. It would be sort of similar to that. Ish.I want to start filming tomorrow. Which would be fun, non? Dad said i was allowed to use the camera, because i took really good care of it when i had to bring it for school, so now i'm deemed trust-worthy with it. Whcih rocks.
I don't know if i mentioned it, but i was thinking of starting it off with the song "we will become silhouettes" by the postal service. Some of you already knew this, but i just want opinions.

How will you go about filming exactly? Will it be that you just sort of carry around the camera and turn it on during class? I mean, I doubt you'll do that, but you might. Specially for those moments when it's "oh, I just wish I had a camera right now" "well I do!" But again, that's assuming you'll have enough time to get the camera out etc. Or will it be mostly lunch and between classes? Or walking home? I'm just trying to scope the project out.
And I think it sounds awesome. LIke, I know it's not done, and it probably won't end up happening as smoothly as I'd hope, but I'm sure it will be fantabulous to look at when done. I'm in love with the party idea (kudos to em), and really want my own copy- and I do hope you start filming tomorrow. WHo knows nomi, you could be the next Spielberg. But better, because his movies arent' always that good in my opinion. I like the subject material of htis a lot more.
