Ryan and I took a 410 mile road trip last Saturday to visit 6 of Ohio's best Hamburger joint. We a had a burger at each places and it took 13 hours. Here it is.

Ok, so I went ahead and made the cheddar dill bread. The cheddar got obliterated into a million little bits by the bread machine blade, so you can't really taste it, and I didn't add enough dill to give it a very dilly flavor. However, this time I used fresh enough yeast to make the bread rise all the way to the top of the pan. It is fantastic.

Ryan's brother gave me a bread machine the last weekend we were in Louisville to visit him. My first attempt at using it was to make a simple honey white bread. The yeast I had in the pantry was expired, so the loaf didn't rise, but tasted kinda like soda bread when it baked into it's tough little ball. Here is a picture.

Ok, Ryan and I have been curious about Kinoki foot pads for a long time. Of course, they must be snake oil. What if they really do lighten after time though? We shall see. Here is the kit and everything it came with.
