Kai had dropped onto the floor, eyes wildly scanning the paper, hoping for some sign that this was a joke. Finding none, he disregarded it, desperately hoping Reita didn’t actually feel that way. Kai loved Reita too, but this was all too sudden.

A long night’s sleep should help me, Kai thought.
