Tomorrow I am beautiful Baja bound for 2 weeks of vacation. Yea!! Things have been rather tense both at work and on the personal front for the past couple of months, so I am looking forward to the respite. With winter getting colder and darker faster than should be legal, the sunny beach should be just the ticket. A part of me is worried about ( Read more... )

Lol! And by the time you come back maybe I will have cranked out several thousand words of a nonfandom related story. Oh yeah, that's right... the cracked out grad student with computer issues signed up for NaNo this afternoon. What was I thinking?

Oh, and your story should be done too. Actually if you're really not leaving for 27 more hrs it can be done before then. As a 'have a good trip' gift. :-)

Drinking sounds like fun, but my headache compels me to bed. Ciao.

NaNo??? No No!! Were you thinking? I think not, but hey, what's a little challenge if not something to stretch your abilities or "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger". Good luck with that, and I'll drink to your aspirations!

No worries on the fic, BTW. You have alot on your plate.

Nice chapter. There is another huge clue most people wouldn't notice. Either just before or during the moments when Sara says she is happy, or that it's better this way, she looks up and to the right. Any defense attorney worth the name will tell you that is a dead certain "tell" on a liar. People trying to recall something as it really happened, or trying to formulate the truth into words, will look to the left (the pragmatic right brain at work). Those trying to formulate a lie or tell one, will look to the right (the fanciful, creative left brain at work). Sara does this at least twice. Feel free to use this if you like. I think the writers, or the director, put this in as a clue, knowing they would never explain it, and knowing most people wouldn't get it. They did it for their own amusement.

Great idea. I think Catherine used that logic when she was investigating the murder of the little girl on the amusement park ride. The mother was telling Cath what happened and Cath remembered the left/right glance scenario. I forget the name of the epi, but you are right in your advice. Thanks for reading and offering suggestions for improvement.
