That poor woman. I wouldn't have handled it well either.

Yeah, it's just a really depressing situation to be under for over 25 years. I can't really imagine a parallel - perhaps Bernie Madoff at the moment, but he's only been sweating it for a few months and I suspect that people will forgive crippling financial devastation quicker than they will forgive allowing women to make their own choices about carrying to term.

I heard from the same friend that Dr Tiller's mental health had been suffering in the last few years due to the constant pressure he was under.

And yet, I bet his family would give anything to be back under that threat, if it meant they had him alive again. :(
