True Colors

When things get bad or rough or ugly people always start to show their true colors. It drives me crazy still having to deal with Roger. Dumb shit like "wanna help me clean the apartment?" Sure.. if  i weren't already going to be out of town when you want me to help you.. it would be nice to see him and see if maybe this time apart has left anything

Hun, I love you, but you can be selfish sometimes.
That being said, I don't think that you are in the wrong here. You know how I feel about him, as many of your friends feel about him. He never really treated you right, and I don't see him doing so in the future. Seriously, you shouldn't be expected to "help" with shit when you aren't around. That isn't "helping", that is slaving. That is expecting you to drop everything and stay because they told you to, even when they know you are otherwise busy. Nick used to do that to me. Make me cancel plans all the time for bullshit reasons.

thanks pinky. i know i can be selfish sometimes. and i don't really intend to. i see all these people doing for themselves and i think they are selfish too, so i don't know how different i am. i don't look at my actions and think they are selfish. i think i need people to tell me when i am being so.. so i stop doing the things i do.

See, the fact that you don't intend on being selfish means that you are a good person, because all people are innately selfish, but only those that purposely go out of their way for their own en devours, those are the people I can't stand. Hence, you being friends with me, proof again you are a good person.
I can think of many other people that don't fall into this category, and for the exception of my cousine, Mel's tend to be really bad...I know you know what I mean...
