Aww I miss having a hallway to decorate. 4D was by far the most festive wing in White Hall, and it was all thanks to Kristen and me. I mean, who else would have thought to cover the doors in wrapping paper and put everyone's names on those little labels? We should've written Martha a letter in jail and told her about it. Hahaha. Was she in jail ( Read more... )

aww i think it's cute that you got a tree for you apartment! i wanted to get a tree for my room and my parents freaked like you wouldn't believe. you'd have thought it was the most absurd thing they'd ever heard. apparently, it goes against all the laws of christmas and is just wrong. lol. it's not like i planned on getting a ten footer to lavish with tons of lights (though i'd love that), which would ultimately start a blazing fire (but of course, it's what they thought. haha. oh well). anything out of their regular traditions or whatever is unacceptable, so no tree for my room. but i spend more time up here than anywhere else in the house.

is it really that absurd to want to have a little tree in my room? lol.

(sorry if you get this twice.. but it doesn't show that it posted)

hmm i definitely replied to this this morning, and it showed that it posted. but not it's not there.

anyway, i think all i said is that my cousins have trees in their rooms.

i think it's really stupid that you're not allowed. i mean if you're in there with it all the time, you'd notice if it caught on fire. and in the living room, someone isn't in there all the time so you're less likely to notice. but there's not much chance of it catching on fire anyway.

OMG that seriously just made me smile!!!!!
i was so thinking about that this week. I had zero time to decorate my apartment this week and was so sad. I'm like yet to be in the Christmas spirit. Best decorators ever! Our door was obviously the best.
