I just got accepted for the apartment I looked at last friday and will be moving to Port. OMG.....head swimming on all that will need to be done.....packing, throwing things away, donating things to Goodwill, cleaning this place, figuring out where everything will fit into the new place, having mail and utilities moved, taking a day from work to ( Read more... )

I figure I'll more then likely have people over at some point. I haven't put much thought into that yet. That would be a good weekend for such a thing though.

I'm planning on the official move being the last weekend of February. I'm planning on taking Thursday the 26th off from work to move everything I possibly can with my car, and clean my current apartment. The move of the heavy things will be Friday. The building manager is really laid back and even told me that I could move things in sooner. We're suppose to meet up during the third week of Feb. to sign the lease, pay my security deposit, and acquire keys. She said I can start moving in as early as that week. I'm really excited! I'll be living in town as opposed to the middle of knowhere. I'll be a mere 3-4 blocks away from Dockside Deli where you, Jen, and me had lunch that time. The novelty of being within walking distance of anything is making me giddy!
